A 4WD or AWD VEHICLE IS A MUST due to unpaved, steep mountain roads and the potential for high levels of snow in the spring and fall seasons. Roads leading to the cabin become very slippery and dangerous with extensive rains.  If heavy rains occur during your stay, you may be required to remain in the cabin as long as the road conditions are dangerous.  If heavy rains occur prior to your arrival, it could cause a delay with your check-in. Please note that there is a 10’ clearance height restriction at the entrance gate.

You will receive a gate access code prior to your arrival. When you arrive at the gate, enter the provided code to enter the private property and then follow the directions to the Bair Ranch Office. Once checked in, ranch staff will guide you to the camper cabin.

These camper cabins are completely off-grid, with NO power or water source. The shared bathhouse water is NOT potable and it does NOT have electricity so be sure to bring a lamp if utilizing after dark. There is no cell phone service but a signal can be obtained 3 miles down the road near the ranch entrance or the office.

Mattress topper in photo not provided so bring all camping gear.

PETS or ANIMALS of ANY KIND are NOT PERMITTED. The Bair Ranch is a working ranch where livestock and wild animals are abundant. There are large dogs roaming the grounds periodically herding the livestock. Bringing a domestic animal to the property could be dangerous to the livestock as well as the ranch dogs.
